Eric Roach is the guitar player for Lick Lick, and sings some, also. He is a 25 year veteran of the Austin music scene, having played his first gig at Waterloo Ice House when it was on Congress Avenue. At various times he has played on the same bill as the Big Boys, BB King, Don Walser and Fishbone. He plays with those orange picks, although he prefers the yellow ones. His idols include d boon, john mclaughlin, and most of the 60s/70s rock gods. Lick Lick is very fun for him. He used to play with: Halsey Taylor, The Larrys, Cold Shot, JC Rico, Mel Solomon, the Wampus Cats, The Fencecutters, The Fencesitters, Alfalfa Male, The Stupor Friends and Hecho. He is originally from Nacogdoches, TX, and has spent time in Boston, MA, and Portland, OR. His hobbies include internet start-ups and guitar pedals. He knows a lot about beer, and likes to eat food.
